Becky possesses the sudden intimacy that makes ‘singer-songwriter’ worthy of its own genre; the rare combination of solid crafting and simple-yet-strong presentation that one hopes for everytime they stumble upon an open-mic night. A diverse background in musical training and years of unpolished scribbling have joined to form a charming talent for creating very memorable songs with meaningful thoughts and strong melodies.

Becky has enlisted the help of her favorite monkey-child Brock Rothchild and label owner Glen Erickson to produce her debut recording. The process was accomplished swiftly in an appropriately intimate setting – her living room – and the result was precious, as Brock would say. “Some Like The Water” is all at once pensive, fun, imaginative, introspective and of course, intimate. Expect to see a lot more Becky in a venue or a stereo near you.
