F&M will be hosting themselves the age old CD Release show on Nov.12, becoming the grey-beards of the label in that department.
With the release of “Sincerely, F&M”, the unofficial count has reached about 5, if you include earlier efforts under different monikers. In their modest beginnings, along with the modest roots of the label, they kicked off their first ever recording under the flourescents of the old Listen Records store on 124st in Edmonton.
Eight years later and the band’s evolution is seen most clearly through the new record. The rough edges wearing off most everywhere, we have a refined and focussed Ryan and Becky Anderson, with a more consistent supporting cast, producing a new kind of hip, even indie, adult contemporary.
More time on the road, more comfortable in the studio, more F&M for a long time to come.
